I love to go to karaoke and may I
say that to sing is one of my frustrated dreams. Anyway, when we are in the
heat of the I’m-ready-for-this-thing that we usually feel at those places, we
think of awesome songs that are actually, epic billboard songs, or maybe the
very popular songs of the moment and get a little frustrated because you know
you’re simply not gonna to make it (we’re not Mariah Carey for all the saints) so that’s
why we always listen the same old freaking songs every time we go into the
karaoke adventure. But if we have the chance to do a decent cover of them we
will certainly go for one of these:
1. Sia - Chandellier
I love this song but every time I go in my car and try to reach those notes, well, that's hard
2. System of a Down - Chop suey
Please, I shouldn't be the only one that want to sing this in karaoke, regardless of the type of music you prefer this is a good one and deserves a try. I'm personally big fan of SOAD though :) (love you Serj <3)
3. Bohemian Rapsody
A classic... Freddy Mercury master piece, c mon!!
4. Bee gees - Stay alive
Should I say more? Who aside of well trained soprano would be able to keep the unic high notes of the Gibb brothers and make it funky and not painful to hear or sing
5. Righteous brothers - Unchained love
One of my favorite songs in the world. Awesome lyrics awesome singer... very hard to sing but heart-melting. remember Ghost?
6. Sinead O Conner - Nothing compare to U
Aside that it is a hard song another thing is that we can't help looking as an idiot and feel completely awkard during the instrumental part.
6. Eminem - Rap God
Like if rapping was easy... Unless you know all the lyrics you will be out beat pretty soon.
7. Whitney Houston - I will always love you
Praise our beautiful singer goddess. Simply irreplaceable...
8. Maroon 5 - Sugar
OK, I will marry a guy that sings this perfectly in a karaoke night hahahaha (ok, maybe no but I would show him respect hahaha)
9. Michael Jackson - Don't stop till you get enough
The song speaks for itself. Good luck trying this one.
10. Mariah Carey - Without you
This list wouldn't be the same without you Mariah!!!
Obviously there're much more song that can be added to the list, But this are my favorite. Let's keep trying and more than anything, keep having fun next time you have a karaoke night with your friends.
